Saban Center update highlights focus on sports science, learning

An updated plan for the Saban Center was announced Wednesday for the learning facility that is set to be the new home of the Children’s Hands-On Museum and Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre.

An up to date system for the Saban Middle brings a four-pronged science understanding part to the choices of the Children’s Palms-On Museum and Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre.

That was element of the announcement built Wednesday in a Metropolis Hall-created movie that includes University of Alabama head football mentor Nick Saban and his wife, Terry.

“This finding out hub will draw folks from across the nation to appreciate and encourage finding out and to socialize in a spirit of togetherness …,” Terry Saban said. “We are proud to call Tuscaloosa our residence as it carries on to develop and evolve.”

Nick Saban and his spouse joined Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox in 2019 to announce the Saban Centre, which is meant to occupy what is now The Tuscaloosa News creating, changing the 100,000-sq.-foot intricate into the new headquarters for equally the Children’s Hands-On Museum and the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theater.
